Local Issue

Ghanaian graduates struggle to get jobs. This has been a well documented issue with a gap between job finding to job application skills and the entry level role. Since 2022 Opportunities For Us creates conversations and online events for Ghanaian youth highlighting how to network how to search and how to properly apply for jobs since most graduates do not know how to do this.

Positive Impact

This session alone had 95 views on youtube and 200 participants. A partner organisation opened a role which was advertisied during the session enabling gradudates to practice the skills they had just acquired. Feedback from the employer on the quality of applications was positive.

Sustainability

Repeated sessions are crucial. However I am also considering making tiktok youtube shorts and instagram short videos to draw attention for the long form videos.
